Terms and Conditions
Dr. Ramiz Ahmed-Man – Naturopathic Advice and Therapy
1. Scope of Naturopathic Advice and Therapy
“Naturopathic Advice and Therapy” refers exclusively to services intended to support the Client’s general well-being and to complement the management of pre-existing medical diagnoses or symptoms. It does not aim to prevent, diagnose, or treat any disease or medical condition.
Naturopathic Advice and Therapy may include:
Nutritional and dietary guidance;
Supplement and herbal product interventions or recommendations (limited to food supplements);
Lifestyle and spiritual interventions;
Pulsed electromagnetic field therapy;
Ionic foot bathing;
Massage and reflexology;
Aromatherpy;
Sound therapy;
Suggestions for private functional or nutritional testing, with interpretation offered only in the context of Naturopathic Advice and Therapy (not for medical diagnosis or treatment).
These services do not constitute medical advice or treatment and are not a substitute for consultation with a licensed medical professional. No guarantees are made regarding the efficacy or outcomes of any recommendations. Clients must not delay or disregard professional medical advice based on Naturopathic Advice and Therapy.
2. Role of the Practitioner
Dr. Ramiz Ahmed-Man solely provides Naturopathic Advice and Therapy in his capacity as an Advanced Holistic Physician. He does not provide private medical services, and he does not issue medical prescriptions, diagnoses, or treatments.
As a licensed medical doctor in the United Kingdom, Dr. Ahmed-Man adheres to the Good Medical Practice guidelines set out by the General Medical Council (GMC). Where relevant, he may refer to conventional medical guidance, including recommendations from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). However, implementation of any such advice remains solely at the Client’s discretion and responsibility.
Dr. Ahmed-Man is not a primary care provider, general practitioner (GP) or family physician. While he may suggest that the Client consult a GP or other specialist, he accepts no responsibility for referrals, medical assessments, or follow-up care conducted by third parties.
All advice is provided in good faith and tailored to support health conditions disclosed and discussed by the Client during the consultation process.
3. Responsibilities of the Client
The Client acknowledges and agrees to the following responsibilities:
To consult their primary care physician or medical specialist regarding any health concerns that arise before, during, or after receiving Naturopathic Advice and Therapy;
To inform all relevant healthcare providers and complementary practitioners about any naturopathic recommendations they choose to follow;
To disclose in full any known medical diagnoses, prescription medications, herbal products, supplements, or over-the-counter medications they are using;
To seek clarification on any recommendation they do not understand before acting on it.
Dr. Ahmed-Man shall not be held liable for any adverse reactions or complications arising from:
Incomplete or inaccurate disclosure of medical history, medication, herbal products or supplement use;
Interactions between naturopathic recommendations and other treatments where there has been incomplete or inaccurate disclosure of medical history, medication, herbal products or supplement use;
Continued use of recommendations beyond the agreed timeframe without further consultation.
All Naturopathic Advice and Therapy provided are time-bound and must not be followed indefinitely without planned review.
4. Data Protection Policy
Client data is processed in full compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act 2018. Dr. Ahmed-Man is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Key data handling procedures include:
Data from questionnaires is stored using a GDPR-committed cloud platform.
Consultation notes are stored on password-protected hard drives and/or paper files, locked in secure premises with alarmed access.
Consultation documents are shared with clients on password-protected files via email.
Only Dr. Ahmed-Man has access to client data, and it is used solely to formulate and deliver personalised naturopathic recommendations.
Clients may request access to their personal data at any time. Requests will be fulfilled within 20 working days.
All personal data is securely deleted or destroyed seven (7) years after the date of the final client communication.
5. Refund Policy
We are not able to offer refunds. Payment is made after your appointment, once the consultation has been completed, in recognition of the professional time, expertise, and preparation invested in your care. This approach ensures fairness and transparency for the client and the practitioner.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dr. Ramiz Ahmed-Man shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or misuse of Naturopathic Advice and Therapy, including but not limited to adverse reactions, medical complications, delays in treatment, or misinterpretation of the recommendations provided.
The Client assumes full responsibility for their decision to implement any Naturopathic Advice and Therapy and agrees to consult with appropriate medical professionals as needed.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or related to these services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
